How and what we feed oursevles is the foundation and direct link to how the mind and body will function.

How many times our daily lives do we find ourselves eating, "on the run" , " grabbing something quick and easy " or "just to tie us over" these are just a few thoughts we all have.

What are we saying to our bodies at those times? We are putting our vitality and heatlh aside because we are too busy. If we were to discard our jobs or even our cars that way, how long will we have them. Our bodies are very important. Our thoughts and actions towards our bodies are important too.

A problem we all face is that we are very busy and getting busier. So we end up grabbing something quick or sometimes go without eating for long periods of time. Which the end result is our bodies become nutrionally deficient. When the body becomes nutritionally deficient we will have problems like:

Poor concentration, memory loss, arthristis, osteoporosis, ligament injuries, muscle pain, fitgue, depression, anixitey, mood swings, high blood presure, high cholesterol, heart attacks, strokes, liver and kidney problems, obesity, gallbladder disease, diabetes, sensitivity to stress, aging prematurely, and cancers and unfortunately this list can go on.

We also must start to realize what we are putting into our bodies. Just for one week, keep a list of what your eating and how much processed food you are consuming.
Processed means having a vital nutrient taken out so the food looses its vital nutrition. Even though were full when we eat processed food, we are missing key nutrients and our bodies become malnurished.

Acid/Alkaline balance: Over acidity can become a dangerous condition that weakens all body systems, is very common today. It gives rise to an internal environment conducive to disease, as opposed to a pH balanced environment which allows normal body function necessary for the body to resist disease.

The concept of acid alkaline imbalance as the cause of disease is not new. In 1933 a New York doctor named William Howard Hay published a ground-breaking book, A New Health Era in which he maintains that all disease is caused by autotoxication (or "self-poisoning") due to acid accumulation in the body: A pH balanced diet, according to many experts, is a vital key to health maintenance.
